Resources & Facilities

The available resources and facilities of an institute play an essential supporting role in the success of its members. At BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, we are dedicated to ensuring that our members receive the tools and spaces needed for engaging in productive research and learning. Adaptable to diverse teaching methods, individual and group study programs, and conference settings, our facilities continue to integrate modern tools to provide accessible and multi-functional environments.

Versatile Classrooms

Classrooms are an essential resource for more familiar forms of learning. Equipped with numerous classroom environments with customizable layouts and multimedia-ready devices, our institute hosts learning settings that fulfill diverse needs. These classroom facilities reflect our understanding of the significance of both the accessibility associated with personal forms of learning and the rising need to consume learning through various means of delivery.

Multi-Functional Digital Classroom Spaces

In addition to our traditional classroom settings, the Mahavidyalay is equipped with resources to facilitate online learning. Our multi-functional digital classrooms allow our members to host, conduct, and participate in larger asynchronous and synchronous online learning environments. Our studio-like digital classroom spaces make it easy to record quality online content. Our institute also provides sound-resistant spaces for individual online course participation and instruction.

Modern Computer Lab

As an increasing number of people engage in educational opportunities that require computer use, access to computing facilities becomes critical. To fulfill this need, our computer lab serves as a learning and study destination. By providing our members with the latest computing tools, software, printing, and other technology resources, our lab offers services to students, researchers, and educators to accomplish all their learning goals.

Individual and Group Study Spaces

There are a wide range of study spaces on campus that are open to all members. Each of these spaces has its own characteristics—some are small and quiet, while others are larger and busier. We understand that not all study spaces are equal and seek to provide spaces that cater to a variety of learning needs. Our campus hosts study spaces for individual and group study, silent rooms for quiet focused learning, group study cabins tailored for undisturbed discussions, meeting rooms for small presentations, and lounges for casual reading.

Auditorium and Performance Halls

The Mahavidyalay values academic and scholarly expression in all its forms. To facilitate these presentations, our campus includes a large auditorium and performance hall, multiple smaller conference and exhibition halls, and outdoor performance spaces. Our large-presentation spaces are equipped with modern audio-visual equipment and flexible seating and presentation arrangements to accommodate diverse events, including assemblies, conferences, training sessions, exhibitions, live cultural and theatre performances, award ceremonies, yoga sessions, workshops, and seminars.

Panoptic Textual Library

The Mahavidyalay features an extensive textual library with collections in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Gujarati, and Marathi. Our collections span a wide range of disciplines, reflecting the diverse topics of instruction and research projects of our members. To provide our students and researchers additional academic resources and keep our instructors informed of contemporary research, our library also provides access to a large number of academic journals and trade magazines.

Multi-Media Library

In addition to a robust textual library, it is becoming increasingly important to integrate traditional collections with digital platforms, content, and tools. The Mahavidyalay continues to be responsive to modern research trends, methods of investigation, and publication techniques by accumulating and serving as a portal to extended digital-media collections. Its subscriptions to online learning resources and digital information services allow students and researchers to quickly acquire necessary skills and academic content.

Language Learning Assistance

As research and learning increasingly cross language boundaries, it becomes ever important to provide students with opportunities to acquire foreign language skills. To give our members the extra edge, our institute offers guidance, language learning programs, and tools necessary for cross-language content creation and presentation.
