On the occasion of Dashabdi Mahotsav of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, a workshop was organised on Sankhya-Tattva-Kaumudi, one of the commentaries of ‘Sankhyakarika’, at Sarangpur. HOD of the Sanskrit Department at Sampurnanand Vishvavidyalay and Upadhyaksha (Vice President) of the Kashi Vidvad Parishad, Professor Dr Ramkishor Tripathi came to Sarangpur to conduct this workshop.

On May 2, 2024, the inauguration ceremony was held. Mahamahopadhyay Pujya Bhadreshdas Swami commenced the session by lighting the lamp and delivering inspirational words.

From May 2 to 8, 2024 the workshop was organised. In one week, 21 youths and 7 scholarly swamis did an in-depth study of Sankhyakarika. Our special guest Shri Sukantkumar Senapatiji, Vice Chancellor of Shri Somnath Sanskrit University also attended the workshop on May 4, 2024. Prof. Ramkishorji lectured effortlessly, clearly, and illustratively. After every session, the students discussed their queries with the professor to know more.

On May 8, 2024, the director of Swaminarayan Research Institute, New Delhi Mahamahopadhyaya Pujya Bhadreshdas Swami and Dr. Pujya Atmatruptdas Swami felicitated Prof. Ramkishor Tripathiji with a letter of thanks in the final session. Following this, the professor expressed his gratitude and shared his teaching experience. The students also expressed their gratitude to the professor and gave a short presentation on their studies.

This way, a week-long workshop culminated successfully. It benefited the students in understanding the Sankhya Darshan.
