BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, Sarangpur arranged a teacher’s training workshop titled ‘Towards Effective Teaching’ from May 24 to June 4, 2024. The central objective of this workshop was to make teaching more qualitative and effective in the Mahavidyalay. The students, teachers, professors and swamis of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay attended this training workshop conducted by Bharatbhai Mavadiya, Assistant Director of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randeshan. He conducted 2 to 3 hours of practical sessions each day on various topics of effective teaching through various mediums like classroom management, assessment methods, teacher-student relationships, effective teaching methods and tools, etc. Many discussions were held in which trainees found solutions to common obstacles faced by instructors. In the closing ceremony, Sadhu Atmatruptdas Swami, former principal of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, explained the importance of effective teaching techniques and then trainees also shared their experiences and feedback of this workshop. Finally, Dr. Sagarbhai Acharya, the current principal of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, presented a letter of thanks to Professor Bharatbhai Mavdia. This 10-day workshop proved to be a guiding light for instructors interested in improving their skills in the art of sharing knowledge with the next generation.
