The seminar was chaired by trustee and treasurer of UPL University of Sustainable Technology, Shri Kishore Surati.

Following inaugural prayers and the traditional lighting of the lamp, a video highlighting Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s exemplary planning, decision-making and foresight was shown.

In his speech, Gnanvijaydas Swami highlighted that although Pramukh Swami Maharaj was not a qualified management professional, his management skills have been commended and eulogized by eminent personalities. In fact, Prof. A.C. Brahmabhatt, a veteran management expert, has penned a book on Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s prodigious management skills.

Gnanvijaydas Swami said that under Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s guidance and blessings, BAPS constructed over 30 shikharbaddha mandirs, more than 1,100 hari mandirs across the globe and two mammoth Akshardhams in India. He inspired more than 1,000 learned youths to become sadhus. Further examples of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s management skills are the efficient services rendered by BAPS Sanstha for the welfare of people affected by the ravaging earthquake in Kutch, Gujarat.

Gnanvijaydas Swami also described the special aspects of shooting the ‘Mystic India’ large format film, which was completed in a mere 13 weeks with the help of modern technology. All these aspects reflect Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s wide-ranging management skills.

Pramukh Swami Maharaj not only managed resources but people as well. He was adept at understanding people, and had the unique ability to keep everyone unified and build effective teams.
