Under the auspices of the Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations, P.P. Savani University, Kosamba, Surat, in association with AARSH Research Institute, Swaminarayan Akshardham, Gandhinagar, organized a seminar on the topic ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj: Proponent of Morality in Business and Professions’ at the P.P. Savani Auditorium Hall. The seminar highlighted Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s invaluable contributions to the society in shaping ethical and moral individuals among entrepreneurs and professionals.
The seminar was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of P.P. Savani University, Dr. Paragbhai Sanghani.
Following inaugural prayers and the traditional lighting of the lamp, a video highlighting Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s exemplary planning, decision-making and foresight was shown.
In his speech, Shri Harikrishnabhai Vinchi, a motivational speaker and educationist from Surat, highlighted that since time immemorial, the land of India has been graced by sages and sadhus who have shaped and molded our culture with moral values. Likewise, Pramukh Swami Maharaj inspired individuals to work with integrity and truthfulness in their businesses and professions. He never hesitated to speak the truth to someone who veered off from the virtuous path. He guided and encouraged them to tread the path of righteousness. It was Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s motto and belief that, ‘If wealth is lost, nothing is lost. If health is lost, something is lost. But if character is lost, everything is lost.’ With this motto, he stimulated the youths to live a life of clean character, consciousness and spirituality.
Shri Sumeetbhai Vadher of the University and Dr. Satipbhai Biradar, Registrar, P.P. Savani University, also presided over the seminar.
