The Akṣarapuruṣōttama Darśana conference was organized on October 5th, 2024 with the combined support of AARSH Research Institute and Baps Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay. The conference commenced with Vedic mantragān followed by deep-pragatya. Dr. Sagarbhai Acharya addressed the purpose behind this conference in his keynote address. Sadhu Bhaktisagardas Swami was invited as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. He is a senior lecturer at Yuvak Talim Kendra and BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay. He covered the importance of Akṣarapuruṣōttama Darśana and explained the presentation style of research articles.
After the inaugural ceremony, three seminars were organized. Professor Sadhu Shrutiprakashdas Swami, the director of Aarsh Research Institute, was present as the chief guest in all three seminars. In the entire conference, eleven research articles were proposed. The assistant professors of Baps Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, including Dr. Krishna Panda, Harikrishna Pedhadhiya, and Tarun Dhola each chaired one of the 3 seminars. Participants enhanced their knowledge of the Akṣarapuruṣōttama Darśana through panel discussions while also improving their skills in writing academic papers. The conference was concluded by Professor Sadhu Shrutiprakashdas Swami who provided invaluable guidance to the delegates on effectively continuing their study of the Akṣarapuruṣōttama Darśana. A group photo was also taken of the participants with invited dignitaries.
This one-day conference was attended by more than 70 Mahavidyalay students in person, and also by more than 100 students virtually. This conference became a means to share knowledge of the Akṣarapuruṣōttama Darśana and encouraged its continued academic research.
