New Delhi – The BAPS Swaminarayan Research Institute hosted its “Write with Impact” seminar and workshop today at Swaminarayan Akshardham, New Delhi.
The event drew a diverse audience of over 200 professionals, academics, and students. Hundreds more participated online, including groups from the Rajkot Press Department and Sarangpur Sanskrit Mahavidyalay.

Distinguished delegates in attendance included Professor Ramesh Bharadwaj, Vice Chancellor of Maharshi Valmiki Sanskrit University, Kaithal, Haryana; Professor Sachchidanand Mishra, Member Secretary of the Indian Council of Philosophical Research; Professor Bhagirathi Nanda, Professor at Lal Bahadur University, New Delhi; and Mr. Anirudh Sharma, Deputy Editor of Dainik Bhaskar Newspaper.
A Focus on Authentic, Value-Driven Communication
Speakers emphasized that powerful writing stems from personal experience and strong ethics. In his welcome address, Narayanmuni Swami, a senior BAPS Swami, noted, “When we write from experience, our words resonate with authenticity and impact.”
In a video keynote, Mahamahopadhyay Bhadreshdas Swami, Head of the BAPS Swaminarayan Research Institute, reinforced this theme. “Words shape individuals and influence communities,” he stated. “Writing reflects our culture, intellect, and values.”
From Theory to Practice
The seminar transitioned from principle to practice with sessions on specific writing disciplines. Dr. Gyanananddas Swami outlined key strategies for formal, creative, and content writing.
Dharmendra Kumar, Director of Patanjali IAS Classes, led a focused workshop on effective essay writing. Prashant Shekhar followed with practical guidance on structuring answers for competitive examinations, stressing the importance of clarity and consistent practice.
Concluding with a Call for Thoughtful Expression
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, during which attendees engaged directly with the panel of experts.
In her closing remarks, Justice (retd.) Abhilasha Kumari, former Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court, underscored the writer’s responsibility to communicate with care and precision. Dr. Jyotindra Dave, Director of the Institute’s New Delhi chapter, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the speakers, organizers, and participants.
